Me? Well... I always gravitate towards the "villain" character in a story, so I knew from the Pilot that I was going to love Garcia Flynn. But by the time he had his dream about his daughter, and wife... and he was checking for monsters in his little girl's closet (with a water gun), I was in love. That scene proved what most fans thought all along: Garcia Flynn was not a bad guy, he was a sweet and loving father and husband.
Garcia dethroned my previous favourite character of all time (24's Tony Almeida <--- but FWIW, him and Garcia share a lot of commonalities <--- yes, I have a character type)... where was I? Garcia dethroned my previous favourite character of all time in the final scene of 205 The Kennedy Curse - the Beer & A Movie scene - for very personal reasons.

14 July 2023 marks the five year anniversary of the Team Garcy fansite being online, and is that not the perfect time to celebrate Garcy in... The Summer of Garcy? Of course, any time is a good time to celebrate our favourite ship, but it's about time we focus on making them sizzle (more than they already do) in the summer. What better month to highlight the sparks between them, right?

I'm not good with words, so forgive me if this feels fragmented. Annie Wersching, who played Emma Whitmore on Timeless, passed away this morning from cancer. I didn't know Annie personally, but have loved her as an actress since she was on 24. Two of my favourite female characters were portrayed by Annie: Renée Walker (24), and Emma Whitmore (Timeless). A GoFundMe has been set up by Ever Carradine to help Annie's family in the wake of her passing. My thoughts are with Annie's loved ones. RIP Annie ♥

What will you remember most about Timeless?
ANNIE:
I think it’s that effect that it had on the fans. For whatever reason, whether it’s the time slot or finding its exact niche, it never got this huge, huge following. But the fans that it did have were so loyal and so interested in the actual history. That’s the first thing that jumps out to me about what I’ll remember most.
Also, I’ve played a lot of different characters — both good ones and bad ones. The bad ones are really fun. I just love Emma. She’s so snarky. I will miss her as a character in general.
And [the role is] literally like playing dress up every day. Where do we get to go now? Am I going to be in the past or the present? What’s the outfit? It’s just been a really fun ride.
FORBES:
If you could teleport anywhere for a weekend of relaxation, where would you go?
ANNIE:
The first place that jumps in my mind is Paris. That sounds lovely. I’ve been there a few times already, but I just love Paris.
The other thing that jumped in my mind was jumping into the past. [Timeless protagonist] Lucy got to do this a little bit, where she would see different members of her family. Something like that would be cool, like seeing my mom and dad when they were first courting back in the ’60s or ’70s. Or seeing my grandma and grandpa in the ’40s dancing somewhere. Something that has some sort of family meaning would be interesting and cool.
